Adult and Continuing Education

   IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

In 2014, a new GED test (computer based only) will be launched in Virginia.

Anyone with a current incomplete or non-pass status will be required to start the test over if they have not passed all five (5) components of the current GED test by December 2013.

The Adult and Continuing Education program offers a variety of classes, including classes for those seeking a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED®), and the External Diploma Program (for adults 21 and older). We offer English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes at various levels.

The registration and assessment process is required for all new students prior to class enrollment.  Please phone the Adult Education Office at (757) 283-7830 for next available registration dates and more information.
